Mariusz Franciszek Iskierski has more than 25 years of professional experience in the fuel and energy sector gained at the level of operational and financial managing of infrastructure-capital projects with financial engineering on the Polish and international market.

From 1993 to 2010 he worked for Rafineria Nafty Jedlicze. He specialised in managing and supervising of power generating refinery units, including the processes of distillation, hydrotreatment, reforming hydrogen production and rectification of crude oil. Mariusz Iskierski has contributed to a number of patented technologies, including a catalytic solution implemented on the industrial level in 2008 – Method of Used Oils Processing - and awarded with a silver medal at the Trade Fair for Technological Innovation, Eureka 2009.

In 2010 he was a director and a procuring officer at Climbex in the area of acquiring and managing oil & gas projects, including R&D initiatives on behalf of global crude oil processing companies. In 2012-2014 he supervised offshore oil field projects for Saudi Armaco in the Persian Gulf in Saudi Arabia. He also has experience of managing business projects in Germany, Denmark, Hungary, Israel and North Africa countries.

Since 2019 he has been working for PGE. In April 2020 he became a Vice President of the Managing Board of PGE Energia Odnawialna where he supervises and coordinates the investments in the area of new RES projects as well as manages the Office of Development and Innovation. He sits in managing boards of SPVs of PGE dedicated to building onshore wind farms and developing photovoltaic farms. He is also a Director of the strategic project of PGE – PV Program.

He has graduated from AGH University of Science and Technology (Faculty of Drilling, Oils and Gas). Additionally he holds an MBA degree obtained at the Polish Academy of Sciences (Institute of Economics). He has also graduated from the postgraduate studies on project management at Opole University of Technology (Faculty of Production Engineering and Logistics). He uses his certified knowledge of PRINCE2® PM methodology.
