Paweł Mazurkiewicz is a graduate of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin where he obtained his MA and PhD in humanities as well as of the European Studies of Local Government organised by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.

Directly after his graduation he worked as a teacher and professor specialising in economic history
and history of economic thought.

In 2011 he started working in the local government administration as a Spokesman for the President
of Siedlce.

In 2015 he was appointed to the position of the head of the political office at Ministry of Energy.
He participated in designing of the PV prosumer development program ‘Mój Prąd’ and contributed to the legislation process concerning energy sector regulations.

He has served on supervisory boards of companies and state legal persons.
