Once again, PGE Energia Odnawialna S.A. participated in Poleko – the largest environmental protection and renewable energy fair in Poland, held as part of the Poznań International Fair.
Zarzecze is the first commune in Poland where a typically agricultural biogas plant will be built, powered mainly with corn silage. During the International Water Day celebrations, lease agreements were signed concerning land for the 1MW biogas project.
PGE Energia Odnawialna S.A. is interested in acquiring biogas projects relying on local biomass resources to cogenerate power and heat. We assume that the biogas plants will generate gas from specially grown crops, as well as organic waste from food and agricultural processing, and other local sources of biomass.
