PGE Energia Odnawialna will build the energy storage facility of 500 kW power and 750 kWh capacity at the Żar Mountain – next to the company’s photovoltaic farm. This installation will support implementation of the research and development project – ‘Energy storage facility adapting the PV farm to operate in smart grids’.

On 30 September, 2014, the court registered a merger executed by transfer of all assets of the merged company i.e. Żuromin to the merging company – PGE EO. The merger was performed under Article 514 of the Code of Commercial Companies.
Construction works on the Lotnisko wind farm of 90 MW capacity have been commenced in the Pomorskie Voivodeship.
The general investor of the new power plant is PGE Energia Odnawialna S.A., a company of the PGE Capital Group, managing development of the renewable energy sources (RES)-based projects.
